Get a Jump with Your Veggies

April 2, 2013

For years gardeners have come up with ways to get a jump on Mother Nature by planting their warm weather crops, like tomatoes, earlier than the “average last frost day for their area”.  (Click here to get the average date for your location.)

A recent blog posting from Serenbe Farms provided some low cost/no cost ideas to protect your frost sensitive plants from a late season frost.  (Click here to read the blog posting written by Ryan Carnley, an intern at Serenbe Farms.)  Serenbe Farms, located in our community here in Georgia, provides us with great organic veggies throughout the year.  A big thanks to Farmers Paige and Justin for all they do for us.
