Hello. I am just wondering, how much sun is considered enough sun for a “sun loving” lawn? I get the rising sun, which goes behind our house by about noon and it’s shady till the sun goes to the other side of the house about 3 .pm. ( I’m guessing. Give or take 1/2 hour or so.) Then the lawn will get some sun till sunset. I know the afternoon sun is considered weak for plants (especially roses). So, my dilemma. Should I plant seed for a sunny space, shady space?

    • Hi Joe… Sounds like you have enough sun to plant our Heat-Tolerant Blue or Sun and Shade grass seed blends. Let me know where you are located and I will recommend one or the other.
