We Grew our Sugar Snap Peas on a Garden Sculpture

June 5, 2014

It is a sad day in the Ritchie household as our last Sugar Snap Pea harvest was this morning.  We had to stretch to reach the last pickings that hung on the plants that were nearly 7 feet tall.  We grew our peas on a copper sculpture that we wrapped with nylon netting.  Our sadness will not last for long as we are going to plant pole beans in their place this afternoon.

You can almost watch the Sugar Snaps grow. I took this picture on April 30. (Click photo to enlarge.)

Hard to believe how many Sugar Snaps we have picked off this little patch. (Click photo to enlarge.)
