Our Daughter’s Balcony Veggies

June 3, 2013

No Place for Veggies… Think Again.

Our daughter’s 8 foot by 2 foot third floor condo balcony (a whopping 16 square feet that she can’t even walk out on) gave here quite a pepper yield last summer as well as steady snips of a range of herbs.

She planted her pepper plant in a 12 inch pot using Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix and fed it some Osmocote Plant Food.

Send a link to this blog posting to anyone you know who uses the “I got no space” excuse for not growing a few veggies.
